Class Feedback12/19/2017 Alrighty, last day in Broadcast Tech I . Kind of upset because it's a really fun class you get to know how to edit videos and taking good footages. Great class i really like how you can choose your own topic on any project, gives you a lot of freedom and you can create interesting things. My favorite project was the IAM project , because it was really fun to put of your personality altogether. And people get to know you better. And my least favorite project is probably is the final project because i tried so many different ideas and got all turned down which was kinda of embarrassing but it was overall a great project to edit and i enjoyed editing on computer. And the nice thing is you get to create your own weebly site and design it how you want it to look. I also spent sometime on designing my website, because i really like to make stuff look cool and unique . I would totally take Broadcast II but my schedule is all full and i need all my other classes to graduate so i can't :( which is really disappointing but it's all good, since i might do something like this in college. But overall, very fun class!!!!! Thank you Mr.Goble !!!!

December 19th, 201712/19/2017 This is our final project in Broadcast Tech I. And basically we can choose our own topic, and i decided to do mine on my friend Harrison Wright. Little background information on Mr.Wright. He is a senior in Ladue High School and he used to play Lacrosse. The project is about how Harrison lost 70 pounds during the summer. I started following him to the weight room and taking some BRolls. Since we need at least 1 supporting characters, i chose to do 2 because then we'll have another person's opinion on Harrison. So i asked my friend and Harrison's best friend Garrett and Ben, they said yes so i started getting their interviews/ opinions on Harrison's weight transformation. I spent a lot of time on this project and a lot of effort was put in. I started off with a different idea for the pet adoption center, they faked on me........And i decided to do it on a police officer and i went to the police station on Page Avenue got BRolls and footages .But my instructor / teacher said it wouldn't be a good project since you can't follow the police officer around to get footages of him on duty. So i chose Harrison, which is a much better idea. I really liked this project and lets hope ill get a good grade on it :).

Interview11/9/2017 Today we watched some videos on how to interview someone properly. So the basics are pretty common sense. Things like don't make the person uncomfortable or nervous just try to have a normal conversation like you would have with anyone else. And secondly, try not to have the person thats being interviewed to look at the camera, just ask him politely to look at you during the interview. And of course, there's some basic things like adjust the lighting and after the adjustment on the lighting don't move the camera or set the camera to auto because that way the camera is gonna auto adjust the lighting. And also make the background look nice and if you are doing another person in the same household, don't put them at the same spot . And also i interviewed a friend of mine before watching the videos. I did a decent job but could have been a little better. And one thing you should know is that never ask a yes no question because it's gonna be hard for you to expand on the topic that way. And i was nervous when i did my interview because it was my first time interviewing someone. But after the videos on how to interview people, i think i will get much better on my next interview.
Six Word Story10/25/2017 Today i finished my six word story project and turned it in. This is my second most favorite assignment by far. (My favorite one is the IAM project, which is under my video page ) I like this project because we can actually film outside of school, and there's not much restrictions except there's only two rules to this, first , gotta be six word exact and 3-5 seconds for each unique shot. Now, this project is very fun because there is not a topic that we have to stick with. So i had my friend Garrett Rogers to help me film the project. The project was pretty easy to write it on paper, but it was very hard to do. There was a point where i couldn't find the right place to set the camera to get the shot i wanted, so we had to replace that idea with another . But honestly, this project was very fun to do , and it was very enjoyable. So basically, the story behind this is that i had a friend we were cool and one time we were hanging out and i got a call from someone so i was talking to the guy on the phone, and he stole something from me . That was it ........ Thank You for watching , stay in tune for the next project.

Six Word Story10/3/2017
Today in class, we started our new project. Six Word Story, the only rule is gotta be six words and six unique shots. I started researching due to the fact that i didn't know what it was. I started looking at other people's six word stories and i felt really good about this project, because it has no restrictions or whatever. So your creativity is what matters, there is not a right or wrong for this project. We used Earnest Hemingway's six word stories; "For sale: Baby shoes, never worn." as an example for the class. We had a class dissccusion about Earnest's six word stories, we had some wild guesses but it's ok different person has different views on things. My guess was that maybe he thought he is gonna have a baby( thought his wife was pregnant) so he bought the shoes beforehand. But realized that his wife wasn't pregnant so he said baby shoes for sale , because he didn't wanna to keep the shoes. "She changed is to was "

WALLDO???9/27/2017 We were assigned to a new project on 9/18/2017, it's called WALLDO. Which are seven shots combined, wide, angled, low, linking, depth, opposite. I was in a group of three with Garret and Drew. We have decided to go to the back gym to get our shots. We got all the shots we needed by shooting basketballs and each person needed their own shots. So we decided to take turns. And after we are done with our shots, we went back and started uploading all the shots we took onto Final Cut Pro X and edit it. The requirements were 3-5 secs per shot and add transition if needed and add background music and lastly, have a title for each shot. That way the audience will know which shot is which. Overall, it was a fun project because we started using Final Cut Pro X for the first time, and we think we can learn alot from practicing it.
Final Pro Cut X / Scavenger Hunt9/25/2017 Couple weeks ago, we started our video scavenger hunt project. Where we shoots six different shots. Shots were lockers, construction zone, front of the school, work of art, vending machine, trophy case, student using computer etcetera...... After we are done with the shots, our teacher gave us some advice and we can decide if we want to revise some of the shots. After that, we uploaded our shots and we learned how to use final cut pro X. We learned how to add transitions to our short film, how to put background music, how to cut and edit our short film. Lastly, we learned how to put texts and titles , subtitles on our film. Overall, it was a fun project we get to walk around the school and get our shots. And Final Cut Pro X makes video editing much easier for us.
IAM PROJECT I9/12/2017 Today in Broadcast Technology I class, i created an imovie trailer. The project is basically a introduction of you and your fun life experience. We learned how to modify a imovie trailer. How to zoom in and zoom out on a photo or a video to make it look better. The good things about this was that it's super easy to operate and modify. The bad thing is that there's a limit time and each trailer which limits our time on photos and videos. Overall, this project gave us a good understanding of imovie trailer and i really enjoyed it.
